Hotel Phonix Hjorring, Hjorring

The hotel has a lovely old-world charm and is conveniently located near shops and restaurants. However, while the breakfast buffet is excellent, the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms left much to be desired. The staff were generally helpful, but issues such as poorly maintained facilities made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

My experience at Hotel Phonix was unfortunately very disappointing. While the central location was a plus, the condition of the rooms and service fell far below expectations. The mold and cleanliness issues made it hard to enjoy my stay, leading me to leave after just one night despite having booked for two.

My stay at Hotel Phonix was quite disappointing. While I appreciated that the hotel was centrally located and easy to access local attractions, I found the condition of the rooms alarming, which made for an uncomfortable experience. Even though the staff tried to help resolve some issues, the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. I left after one night instead of the two I had planned, as I couldn't handle the state of the room.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, the staff seemed friendly during check-in and I appreciated the convenience of having parking available. However, the room was quite outdated and not very clean, making for an uncomfortable stay. The noise from a nearby party also made it hard to get a good night’s sleep, which was disappointing given the price I paid.

This hotel has a lot of potential with its charming old building and good breakfast, but it falls short on room comfort and maintenance. While the staff is friendly and helpful, the noise and lack of basic amenities detracted from my stay. It's a decent option for a quick transit but definitely has areas needing improvement.
